the Island of Bréhat
Nicknamed the "Island of Flowers" due to its exceptional microclimate, the Île de Bréhat is a must-see in the Côtes-d'Armor region. Located a short distance from Paimpol, this island is actually made up of two parts connected by a stone bridge at low tide. Closed to cars, it can only be explored on foot or by bicycle, offering absolute tranquility.
Guingamp
Located 20 minutes from the Hotel Les Fontaines in Lanvollon, Guingamp is a city of art and history well worth a visit. Famous for its football club (En Avant Guingamp), it is especially rich in its well-preserved medieval heritage.
Paimpol
Paimpol is an essential stop on your trip to Brittany. A former cod-fishing port made famous by Pierre Loti's novel An Iceland Fisherman, Paimpol has retained a strong and authentic maritime character. Thanks to its prime location, Paimpol is also the main departure point for the Île de Bréhat. A charming town, easily accessible from the Hôtel Les Fontaines in Lanvollon!
